2013 Happy New Year, for swaps...

9 posts
Well it's the first day of the coin collecting year, I know some of us are looking forward to what new numismatic items this year will bring us.. Some of us are planning for what the Big shows that are coming up will offer.. And at least a couple of us (right Phil  B)  :°  ) are anxiously waiting for the floor to finally collapse from under the PM market.. I myself Can't wait to get back into the groove of collecting silver coins based on Numismatic value, and not Wall Street trends...

But in the meantime it looks like the holidays are just about ended and Hopefully everyone had plenty to eat, drink and being merry.. Soon all those little sleepy head smiley things will be dissapearing from the exchange and I don't know about you but I'm ready to jump back in... And just as soon as I can stop this room from spinning (8  and my stomach from burning and quivering :x  :snif: , I will among other things pick up where I left off before all that drinking and eating started (;0 ..

Do some more cataloging, add grades and values to my coins.. And get back to some of those swaps and deals that were on the back burner (right Mark  B)  :° ), after all I've finally confirmed a trade with Canada, the U.K. may be next :8D

So who else is anxious to stop the room from spinning and get going with some new swaps and acquistions in 2013 ?
So many coins... So little time...
I'm looking forward to it ! I'm going to the London coin show, we also booked our holiday for July..(albufeira Portugal)
Were going with 2 friends this time, we went just the two of us in 2011 and loved it !
I'm going to turn my doesn't want to swap off now, I'm gunna buy more bulk lots and this year I really want a gb trade dollar and a straits dollar. If I get my impreza this year and can beat £400 off the price I'm gunna buy a tackoe or ackey too !
Oh I want to get my Charles II, James II, William III, Anne 1/2d's
William IV and Victoria pennies (the rest of the varieties).

Want some James II gun money too :)
By one of those strange quirks of fate which kinda make me believe there is a higher being, I have swaps on the back burner with both participants in this thread.

I'm planning to get things wrapped up this evening with a view to hitting the Post Office on Thursday. That will give Harry time to sober up and Mark time to wake up.

Happy New Year!
Non illegitimis carborundum est.  Excellent advice for all coins.
Make Numismatics Great Again!
(tee-hee) Yeah, and I'm looking forward to having more money in my pocket because I vowed that 2012 was going to be the last year that I collected UK BUNC £5 commems but that ain't going to happen either  :O
Just because you can't see it ... doesn't mean it isn't there - Anon.

We have the New York International Numismatic Convention coming up Jan. 11-13 http://www.nyinc.info/ it will be my first time attending that one and I'm stoked and ready to go.

Speaking of Trade Dollars I have some catching up to do with my 1800's U.S. type set, I just picked up a sweet 1878 S Morgan dollar in BU  B) , but still missing most of the other silver coins of that century.

BTW whats a tackoe?, ackey?

Thanks Phil,
Good news is that my vision is starting to clear up and I am regaining some of my coordination  :P .
Maybe before this weekend I will be able to pull your coins from inventory and add the missing data to our exchange. Not to worry though I'm not going to suddenly want to finish swaps at break neck speed. I'm still going to move slow even without the hangover  :D
