WOW!!!  :)  :)  :)

Faster than light! Many thanks!!

Just an info: I put three coins in the catalog list. I'll be happy to help this fantastic site, but I don't know what is the best way to scan and post the pictures. Suggestions?

Yeah, I'm getting better at identifications.
He's swatting up for Feb so he can raid the drawers; by the way Ben keep an eye out for Edward VII, KGV and Victoria with seated Britannia 1/3 farthings - I want them ha
Trust me, Mark, when we get in the Exhibition Hall and see the rummage trays it will be every man for himself :8D

Hello,

I've got a suggestion; on the French forum when people ask for "easy" or modern coins identifications, we just give keys to found as country and date. By this way people learn how to search in Numista database and learn more about their coins by themself.

What do you think?

It's a good idea but it might have been nice to delay the post slightly so as not to take away from Ben's moment of glory ;)

This is a great idea...one I hadn't thought of. I appreciate your concern Rick...but I'm not upset...however, I sometimes think people just want an answer...not have to trawl through the whole lot!

Oh...and as for the rummage coins...it is every man for himself...the old dudes will be pushing us out of the way!

People get lazy, but that's not to say they won't help themselves in the future or haven't tried to already, I still do it I know and although I know quite a lot about my chosen area I still haven't scratched the surface !

I haven't got any resources - I really need a Krause catalogue too but they are So expensive. I can't afford one and I can never find old ones on eBay, I don't exactly need an up-to-date one - the empire has been de-funked for some time now, that's how I'm still scraping by with a 42-year-old book ! Haha

It's great but some coins I can't find in it like the princely states coins with Victoria on them there's no pics which I would love to see as some are rare, I also thought im gunna collect pennies right back to the commonwealth but it appears that pennies weren't made for some reigns only 1/2 and farthings  :S

Hello kameni,
In future please start a new thread. This coin is not worth a lot and will not cost you much to ship it out of the EU either.
