Is it a fake or a misstrike? that someone inserted a 50 cent into the 2 euro machine…

Some private company or individual try to  sell these “innovative” “rare” "exclusive" “top-investment” collector items to naive people with huge mark-ups all the time.

There are countless coins treated this way.
