In my opinion, it should not called a catalogue unless you have these basic info
Main descriptions (front and back)
Date of issue (if known)
Quantity (for limited issues)
Prefixes (or at least the first and last prefix - if known)
Replacement prefix
Specimen
Material - paper/polymer/hybrid etc
Signatures (full names or first and last)
Imprinter
Dimensions
Of course, I am only referring to the most recent issues and not those issued some 30 or 40 or so years ago, as it would be hard to get all the details.
If one popular website details some of the above info incorrectly or missing details, chances are you will find other sites have the wrong info too (cut and paste). Also most sites would not conduct basic research to get the full picture of it.
For example the two Guernsey notes of P48a and P48b. You will find the signatures listed as WC Bull and MJ Brown. What do WC and MJ stand for? It took me about a month to get the correct full names from the issuing authority. Even, they told me that they have to go back to their old records to find that out for me.
