What happened to topic notifications?

When did topic notifcations disappear? I still get notified about messages but not forum topics I've posted in or registered an interest in. I'm reporting this a bug but I suspect it's an intentional change. If so, was this discussed before implementation?

There was no recent change regarding notifications. It seems your forum notifications were somehow disabled. This may have been done either via your account settings or by clicking the Unsubscribe link in one of the notifications. You can activate the forum notifications again in your account settings (https://en.numista.com/vous/votre_compte.php).

You're absolutely right, my setting had been unticked, but I've no idea how that got changed. Thanks.
