Can someone help me with the date of this 2 Gani coin from the Sultanate of Delhi

Please review the guidelines for ID requests. Providing the diameter to the nearest mm and weight to the nearest tenth of a gram would allow precise identification of the coin using the Zeno database, and this would give the dates this type was struck.

I was looking through “The Coins of the Indian Sultanates” by Goron & Goenka (GG) and found your coin. You are correct that it is two gani, a billon coin of Ala al-Din Muhammad, coin number GG D233. The weight should be about 3.5 g. The reported dates are 696-705 and 716. Personally I'm not seeing a date on your coin, but maybe another member can make out a date.

It is on numista

Arnav

The date on these is in Nagari numerals around the circle,  it's always on the left side and the photo is too poor to see traces of the date

I would leave as ND, seems hardly anyone put the date in those coins since is almost never visible.

Looks like 32 in the end, maybe not, we will never be sure.
