does anyone happen to have a bunch of Victorian pennys that are almost worn flat? I'm talking about this kind of condition

Victoria 1869 Penny | Baldwin's

I'd like to trade for some that are like this, as long as the date is readable and the coin isn't corroded or bent.

I'm also interested in any vintage British silver, so if you have anything along these lines, feel free to message me!

I have a lot of both - the Pennies and the silver.

Will have to take some pictures. Is it only Pennies,

as I also have Halfpennies in similar condition.

Just looked in the heavy bags I have, and only 2 Halfpennies …

Not much daylight left, so pictures getting dark. Will add 1 Penny pictures shortly,

when I have counted how many coins in each bag. The fewest are in the 1880 bag …

as an example of what I have.

No idea where my spare silver coins are - may take weeks to find them.

Here are the Pennies. The other dates.

The Victorian dates I have two different bags of them …

….. [9 + 34 + 98 + 49 = 190 coins] ….. / ….. [6 + 22 + 39 + 22 = 89 coins] .….

oh yes, would like to trade for those half pennys as well, also if anyone has any farthings in this condition I'd like those too

Another thing I just thought of, if anyone has US buffalo nickels with the date completely gone, I wouldn't mind having a few of those either

What kind of solution are you talking about? Would like to buy some!

Cents are money too!

@Zac Many thans in advance!

Cents are money too!

you can use the nickadate on other coins (not just buffalos) as well, just so long as the composition is the same

May I ask you, why do you like to get coins in this condition? I am just curious.
Btw I have some too, if you like them.

...you can run,  but you can't hide...

I just like thinking about how many transactions it was a part of, also worn coins are usually pretty cheap

I have a buffalo nickel without a date.. how does that solution work? Bren

I have not watched it but here is a [15:12] video >

Great thanks.

I don't have lots of British pennies to offer but do let me know if you happen to be interested in the colonial coins from Malaya/ the Straits Settlements listed in my swap list.

It is acid that eats away at the metal until the date becomes visible.  I don't know why it eats the metal around the date but it works!
