Hi everyone, I'm new here. I have some questions on how this all works. I may be too busy for such a system, I work and travel a lot. But occasionally get home for weeks at a time. This would be neat if I could fill that time. I have OCD and while I'm not working, seem I go a bit crazy with nothing to do.
How do you all fit this time in?
Are people patient during trades?
How do you trust folks with exchanges, who sends first?
I've read a lot of profiles and messages in forums, kind of getting the hang of this. However, I've noticed in 2 weeks that people do not read your own profile? is this common?
I clearly have USA only! But I'm getting request from All sorts of countries and also USA request with nothing to offer me? maybe I'm doing something wrong?
Does everybody have to trade or can you just keep you collection on here?, how do I not trade? or turn off profile? It might take me a while before I actually trade.
Sorry for all the questions and concerns.
I recently bought a house from a near relative. There was a stack of coins in the corner covered up, and I negotiated the entire lot during the closing. I was intrigued and never seen such coins, didn't even know some of these countries exist, LOL. Numista is perfect for me, as I have found most of the coins. This was extreme fun, and I almost got in a trance entering coins until 2am? is that normal among numismatics?, Im sure I spelled that wrong. The coins were all marked with grade, date and km, was really fun entering them. I have more but darn, it takes time. I'm learning grading from the examples. I thought it was a huge lot (maybe 1,500), but some of you have 40,000 coins, how????
Thanks for any answers..
- Most of the Better World High Dollar coins are only viewable in my collections within profile. I doubt I trade these easy.
