Just got mail from Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey

A few months ago I contacted the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey to ask about the different series and when they were printed. A few answers were vague and unsure, and it all ended up that they asked me for my address. I handed it to them, but no reply for more than a month, and I didn't think much about it. But on August 6 I thought about it again, and I contacted them again just to give them my house address, in case that was the address they were looking for.

Today I got mail.

😱😲😲🥳🥳🥳😁😁😁

So a huge update of the Turkish banknote catalogue might be on its way! 😁

Very nice indeed, the registered cover as well. When ten meter prints are needed to get the right postage rate - inflation is ripe.

Lets hope they have hidden some notes inside the book

Good on you Central Bank of Turkiye!

I love coins. Especially silver, gold and anything really old.

I know right! I was really surprised when I received it.

I was prepared to dust off my very rusty knowledge of Turkmen and Kazakh to be able to decipher the catalogue – but it's bilingual, so easy-peasy! 😁
