Dear Members of Numista

I am devastated to announce the demise of Kimiji Yamamoto - The Japanese Referee of Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Tunisia & Morocco who quit earlier this year due to ill health (then I took over his account to moderate the edits)

He passed peacefully in his sleep yesterday night

May God have mercy on him

Do remember him in your prayers

Edit - The image above is AI Replicated

Kim's mum works at Midjourney

She said to test out some features she used some personal images which then got mixed in her gallery & somehow found its way here

She apologized & sent a 100% real image without any AI

She was also very happy to see the kind messages of everyone

My Sincere Apologies for any inconvenience caused

Do Remember Kim in your prayers

Amraan Amjad

So sad to see him go at such a young age, May God have mercy on his soul. He will certainly be missed  by many of us fellow new generation collectors in the hobby.

I will include him in my nightly prayers.

May you continue his legacy by making Numista a better place.

My sincere condolences.

Hi to whoever is reading this. Did you know that TYPEWRITER (on a QWERTY keyboard) is the longest word you can type using only the letters on one row of the keyboard.

I did not know him, but just seeing how young he was and to go this soon, that’s quite heartbreaking. Although he seemed to have been ill for a while, I’m glad to hear he passed away peacefully.
My thoughts with his loved ones

RIP.

Sorry to hear that, RIP

Referee for: Egypt

RIP

Sad news. Too young to go.

RIP

This truly makes me sad.  I keep thinking about his last post.

Sorry to hear of this loss.

Taking a break from swapping for a while, but still interested in pre 1799 Spanish coins, I will make time for that!

Looking for pre 1783 coins

So young….RIP

...you can run,  but you can't hide...

I am sorry to hear that.

This is heartbreaking news! I'm very sorry to hear of Kimiji Yamamoto's passing.  I really enjoyed his inquisitive & thoughtful posts. He always had a way of expressing himself years beyond his age.  I just had to re-read some of his posts.

Take your time grieving his absence -it will take a while to adjust. Numista lost a great referee.

Please express my condolences to his parents & loved ones.
