Hello,

When using the French Republican calendar for notes:

Example

The year is set correctly but you have to use gregorian day and month to get the date correctly display, and that's sounds wrong.

So can we also set up days and months according to Republican calendar when using this specific calendar?

Hello,

I agree it doesn't look good currently. I don't have a quick solution for that. I suggest we don't use the fields for month and day for the moment for calendars that have different months than the Gregorian calendar. They can be specified in the year line comment instead, if they are needed to differentiate the different lines.

For now it is the way it's done, comment on yearline level.

For the records, another example was mentioned at https://en.numista.com/forum/topic166148.html
