Help dating Hejaz (Saudi) AH1334 (1916) 1/4 Piastre/Qirsh

Hello,

Picked this on up in a lot and am having difficulty identifying the secondary date.

N#103438

I would assume that it is under the “/” mark to the right of the 1334 date on the top of the first picture. But “0” for year 5 would seem to be the common date and that doesn't look like “0” and more like a “V” which doesn't correspond. Looking on the PCGS page there appear to be coins with both the “V” and the “O” labelled as year 5. Can't seem to find any pictures other than those labeled as year 5.

Is it somewhere else on the coin? Anyone else have any ideas?

Thanks,

I wonder what this is circled? 5/7?

Thanks. The “O” for year 5 does make some sense, but 5 over 7 isn't a recognized date, 6 over 5 is. The O is also  a repeated element across this side of the coin, so not sure. The element to the right of the year is the only thing I see that changes signifcantly across the different examples I can get photos on (though there seems to be a lot of die to die variation on all elements), yet all of these seem to get placed as year 5 coins by the grading companies.

7 is a special number in Islam : Seven circumambulations of Muslim pilgrims around the Kaaba in Mecca during the Hajj and the Umrah. Seven walks between Al-Safa and Al-Marwah performed Muslim pilgrims during the Hajj and the Umrah. Seven doors to hell (for heaven the number of doors is eight).

Look on this amazing 20 Qirsh Hejaz, on top left, the reign would last 7000 years …

And try to count the number of occurrence of the figure “7” on this coin 🤪
