Heres a list of some recent purchases of mine that I have added to the site as they where not there previously. I find the coin from Vanuatu quite ugly but hey I got it for half of its Silver value.

Without sounding cheeky how much was that 1/2 penny, they always go for £30+ !
Some great coins and tokens. Nice French coin! I'm interested to know where you got this little lot from!
I've bought them all from Ebay. You mean the Barbados 1/2 penny Marc? I've paid around 25 for it, it's probably worth less due to bad grade but I don't see them often and they usually sell for more than they are worth.

Fantastic Brunswick coin. You're lucky to even have a coin from the states.

In case you didn't know, you can make the photos less yellow by using the Decolorizing tool on Photoscape. I suggest using -5.

OK thanks - I took the photos late at night so I used my desk lamp, I guess that's why they don´t look perfect + my cam is quite a cheap piece.

I looked but didn't notice the brunswick luneburg coin, I collect those too ! I have a 1 pfenning so far and have a 1-1/2 on the way :)
I'd love to own thalers from the 17-18th century as I think they looked absolutely stunning  , German states coins at that time were the s**t. They also take for example in the Krause book of 17th century coins pretty much over half of the book just for the German States, but damn the problem is that it's very expensive collecting those so I might go in that direction in the future if I have more cash  8) . There are even thalers that are around 200mm in diameter - that's pretty much bigger than your hand but they are worth 50,000€+

Yeah they are terribly made even in KW VI's reign they look terrible compared to British and colonial stuff :S

Still a pretty cool add-on to my colonial collection as technically it was part of the empire !
Those tokens were what the "Tokens" section was really made for!
