Hello

I would like to request the addition of a new issuer for a provincial coin.

Thank you in advance

  • the name of the issuer in English (and if possible also in French and Spanish)

En: Cidrama

It should be under Roman Provinces > Province of Asia> Alabanda (Conventus)> Cidrama

I can't find the name in French and Spanish. But it was also known as Kidrama, Cidramus, or Kidramos

  • its Wikidata code (for example, Q854 for Sri Lanka)

Q1740876

  • if there are no entries yet on Numista, the link to an auction site or a reference catalogue presenting at least one coin or banknote from this issuer

https://rpc.ashmus.ox.ac.uk/search/browse?city_id=389

  • if they already exist in the catalogue, the link of one or more Numista records that you want to classify under this issuer

N#342661

  • if necessary, the list of other issuers to be linked by “see also” links

n/a

  • if possible, a brief introduction presenting the history of this issuer with any numismatic considerations useful to the reader

Cidrama, Cidramus, Kidramos, or Kidrama, was a town of ancient Phrygia and later Caria, in Asia Minor, inhabited in Roman and Byzantine times. It was part of the Conventus of Alabanda in the Province of Asia, near modern-day Yorga in Turkey. The town issued coins with the legend ΚΙΔΡΑΜΗΝΩΝ and the names of its magistrates.
