Hi,

Wanted to ask why 1916 variation of “6” are not separated like 1936's are?

N#6153

Most likely because SCWC has two year lines for 1936 but only one for 1916.

I never saw one with the long 6, I'll ask ngdawa, if his Swedish catalog shows those variants!

SCWC has only one line and no mention of any variant, so it's probably a numista “invention”.

SCWC has one year line for 1916 and two year lines for 1936.  Numista is exactly the same.

Cheers for the note, mate!

I have checked my Swedish catalogue, and s shows bo recklrd of short vs long 6 for the 1916 issue:

As comparison, here's for 1936:

Thanks for your fast answer, Ngdawa, so I think the OP should delete the comments in 1916 year line, since it's obviously wrong.

I agree – as long as there isn't an unknown long 6 in 1916 out there somewhere.

Hardly probable. It's a dream from someone.  No proof. Throw it out. If in the meantime if the variant shows up we can add it. IF DOCUMENTED.

Thanks for the insight guys, I'm not a frequent Numista user as it's not very convenient to navigate, but I really love the information which is by far the best out there regarding variations. Wonder what are next steps, will admins delete the comment?
