I have this banknote for 2000€

On exonumia inditification they couldn't help so so I thought whole numista could. So the banknotes was issued by MKZ D.D. and READER'S DIGEST. I don't find it anywhere online and I don't know how much is worth. Can anyone help me?

I don't think much more information than you already provided is even out there, unless directly from the people who made that contest.

Still very strange concept to win, get something, then having to ship it back, all this to get to your real price.

Readers Digest used to send fake banknotes and cheques out with their scammo lottery promotions. If you bought one of their books, you were bombarded with their sweepstakes mail all the time and it took basically a court action to get rid of their mailouts. They disappeared from NZ years ago, but may still have a presence in some other countries.

I remember a copy of fake 1700s ducat, cheques printed for 1 million dollars being sent out to my parents in the 80s and 90s, the check said “VOID, VOID” all over it, but they thought it was real. Of course every mail out was promoting some book and there were scratch cards (All rigged to show biggest prize), pamphlets, yes and no envelopes and all sorts of crap.

They made a whole lot of “reproductions” of rare ancient coins as well. Those regularly appear on here in how much is it worth threads.
