Hello,

I think Numista is missing page that could be easily found with same basic concepts/FAQ/glossary/beginners guide information about coins/banknotes/exonumia. For example what information I would like to see on that page related to coins/exonumia :

  • what is pattern/essai/piedfort/trial strike coins?
  • what is token and why some tokens appears among coins and some among exonumia ?
  • explanation about different KM types :
  • explanation about different grade types:
    • PR#N Ultra Cameo
    • PR#N Ultra Deep Cameo
    • PR#N Cameo
    • MS#N
    • PR#N
    • AU#N
    • SP#N
    • PR#N BN
    • PF#N
    • PF#N RB
    • UNC/XF/VF Details

I'm not mentioning some basic stuff like grades UNC/AU/XF; qualities like Proof/prooflike/BU etc… or what is coin and medal alignments etc.

This information is not directly related to Numista and maybe is described somewhere on web sites of Krause/NGS/PCGS/wiki but would be nice have it also here because every user will face with these abbreviations browsing pages.

What do you think?

Another term to include would be uniface.
