Hei. Under 1 dollar serie 2009 mangler det en linje på noen varianter.

P#530. Serie 2009 - H (St. Louis) - COPE    denne mangler

P#530. Serie 2009 - H (St. Louis) "FW" Fort Worth - COPE

Please post a picture of your banknote.  I believe all 2009 series $1 H banknotes are “FW”.

Bump.

The H on your banknote is the plate letter.  Your banknote is from C (Philadelphia). It is already listed on the catalog page.

Maybe the pages should have a guide for what is what. I already hate it on German commemorative Euro coins to look what mint I have because the country signifier is D but also a mint letter 😅.

That would be a good idea although it does have the comment, “On the obverse side of the $1 banknote a letter in circle identifies the Federal Reserve bank branch, serial number of the note also starts with the same letter – Letters identifying FRB branches are as below.”

On this bill “PHILADELPHIA PENNSYLVANIA” is actually printed.

Then it's already explained.

Aaaaa. Da har jeg miss forstått merkingen. Beklager dette. Da lærte jeg noe nytt i dag og. Er det samme merking på de andre dollarvalørene og?

Remy

Yes, on all modern US notes. On some with 2 letter prefix serial numbers the second letter signifies the city.
