This is a difficult decision. I will have to go with #2. Even though I like the design of the silver florin, I just like Japanese coins better.

Number 1 because it's silver, old, British and beautiful design
but the Japanese coin is pretty cool with a nice modern design

It is a little unfair that a consistently winning coin is running against a new coin. Both look great, but not every British coin is better in design than other coins.

It's not unfair either its one coin against one coin it's not like it gets better with each round. It's hard to beat since it commemorates a big event in such a stylish way with an awesome portrait !
