Hi,

So far I've only noticed it with UK coins, but I when I do a search (or even go in to my collection of UK coins), the order that I've defined is to order it by face value, as seen below:

As you can see it thinks a 2018 10 Pence coin is the lowest denomination and earliest going off the search.
It seems to then list the commemorative 10p coins, followed by most commemorative 50ps, then the new £1 coin, a couple of commemorative £2 coins before then going to the standard 1p, which should be the first coin shown, but is instead half way down page 2.

I thought it might be splitting the coins in to commemorative and non-commemorative, but some commemoratives are in the 2nd half of the search, and when changing the country to places like Australia, Italy or China (Picked at random), their order seems fine.

Thanks,

Andy

I had similar situation with few entries on Alderney and BVI issuers (where I'm a referee). It was because some entries were entered as 1 pound and some other as 1.00 pound… second example is not counted as number and go into the beginning or end of list… when corrected all entries to 1 (removed .00) all is sorted correctly.

But it seems that this is not the case here.

I did wonder if it was to do with how it the currency value was being displayed, but didn't look too much in to it.

I've found Spain is affected too by it, with about 6 commemorative 2 Euros coming before pesetas and then the euro coins afterwards:

The problem seems to be related to the Coin types filter.

Following the example in the first post I searched for UK coins since 2000 ordered by face value, and the results seemed correct. I then looked more closely at the example and saw that there was a coin types filter while I had been using all types.

I switch to Standard circulation coins only and the results were one 20 pence coin, one pound coin, and then some one penny coins. Selecting only Circulating commemorative coins the listing started with 10 pence coins (which is probably accurate) but on page two of the results I found a couple of 2 pound coins in between sets of 50 pence coins.

(I didn't spot errors in the Non-circulating coin category, but I didn't review all the 2555 results in detail.)

The whole catalogue configuration is messed up, must be a glitch and will hopefully be corrected at the next site refresh/sync.

As suspected, it seems to have sorted itself out overnight, anyone still have any issues?

Hello,
The nightly refresh was quite broken for the last few days. I improved it, so that this kind of issues should not happen again.
