Valuation of Figueroa Medal [solved]

This medal, according to my research is currently the oldest known medal attributed to the Prince of Filipino Engravers, Melecio Figueroa. According to information available in the Museo del Prado of Madrid. The piece was struck in the year 1885, it depicts the Catalan statesman, author and philanthropist, Don Victor Balaguer.

The Prado Museum has the only silver version found online. While the only copper, belongs to my holdings outside the Philippines.

Figueroa is known for his lead design in the US/Philippine Conant Series of coins, his collaborator in the design was the US Chief Engraver, Charles Barber.

I currently have no idea regarding its mintage and scarcity, although basing on what I've read on another medal by Figueroa, the Philippine General Exposition Medal of 1887. It's possible that it may garner 100 on the Numista Rarity Index.

I hope the other members of this community can edify and enlighten.

What a unique piece. It would be a great addition to Numista if you would add it. As for value, I did some looking/searching as I am sure you did as well. Not much available online it appears.

@ JL Hare,

Yes, information on the piece is scarce, the engraver Melecio Figueroa was a Filipino Gilded Age Master. His work immortalized in the design of the early US/Philippine coins.
