Of the 14 coins issued since AH1413 (2010 AD), twelve are cataloged with Islamic dates.

N#345866

The coin is currently dated 2022. To be consistent with other recent Algerian coins it should be 1444 (2022).

N#304525

The coin is currently dated 2021. To be consistent with other recent Algerian coins it should be 1443 (2021).

The date of these coins are locked so I can't make these changes.

Where Gregorian year is present it is used primarily.

This is what was always used, but I see there is no note of this in the guidelines, so let me see if we can clarify that.

I'm not sure how to interpret this reply. It seems to say that coins with a Gregorian date on the coin should be in the Gregorian calendar, but that approach isn't “always used” as all the Algerian coins issued since AH1413 (2010 AD) have Gregorian and Islamic dates and the primary calendar for the majority is Islamic. This approach allows the search results to show both of the primary calendars.

Egypt also takes this approach. Coins have Islamic and Gregorian dates. The primary calendar is Islamic so the listings show both dates from the coins.

(A few coins have years from three calendars which Numista doesn't have a good mechanism to easily support.)

My bad, I was looking at the wrong place.

I just fixed this a guidelines specify that local calendar should be used.
