Does anyone have a Colombia 50 Pesos Oro (N# 213919) with a watermark?

I have three 50COP notes N# 213919  that I obtained from circulation during several visits to Colombia in the 1980s.

They have the following issue dates:

12-10-1984

1-1-1985

1-1-1986

Now that I am organizing my collection, I noticed that none of these 3 have a visible watermark and there isn't one of the Numista webpage for this note either. Other details and safety features, including UV (all) and microfibers (1986) seem to be OK, the signatures are different for each issue as well and match those in the Bank Note Museum website for their corresponding year.

So, does anyone have a note for this reference with a watermark?

I think there is. I have one, dated 01.01.1986 in UNC condition. I believe the watermarks are all over the note. It is not like one that you can see clearly on the watermark area, like a portrait of a person etc. To best describe it is like those Ulster Bank paper note's watermark, but not as strong.

Poor scans of 100 dpi only.

Thanks ahkai for checking.

The watermarks won't show on a scan, they will be visible by holding the note in front of a light or against the window on a clear day.

In the case of these 50COP notes, I believe they were intended to show a portrait, as in the watermark pictures that I added to the other notes in this series:

N#211665

so, I am wondering wether I am unlucky to have counterfeits for every year or, too lucky for the unlikely case that all notes in this series were printed without the proper watermark.

Can you see a portrait on the note that you have similar to watermark pictures in the two notes in the links above?

No, there are no watermark portrait on the note. The watermarks are like patterns design on all over the paper and it's not as strong and as such it is hard to figure them out what they are.

Why has it a watermark window then though?
