Something wrong here? N#215455

This note almost seems to pegged to US$20, so exchange value is way too high.

Should have value of less than a eurocent!

Just call me Bram

No new swaps for the moment, still too many half-ongoing swaps to clean up!

ZWD is a different currency. The currency linked is the so called RTGS (Real Time Gross Settlement), or Zimdollar.

The ZWD was the first Zimbabwe dollar and was demonetised in 2006.

The bond notes of 2016 was denominated in US-dollars.

In March 2020 the excange rate was US$1 = 25 RTGS$. Today the exchange rate is US$1 = 361.9 RTGS$.

Hello,
Thank you for reporting this error. It's fixed: it now shows 0.06 EUR for this banknote.

The Bond Notes & the Bond Coins are no longer pegged to American Dollars.

They are now part of the current Zimbabwean Dollar, which has plunged through the floor in terms of their value.

You will have pain with this to keep up one, mate.

Today the rate is 1 USD ≈ 321.96, which means means that 1 ZWL ≈ 0.0029 EUR. 😅

Didn't they phase out the bond notes when they released the current Zimdollar?

If not, of course they will have to adjust its value, since they differ so little for the newer notes.

The Bond Notes & the Bond Coins remain in circulation.

Yes, but there's an ongoing process to demonetise the bond notes. This will probably take a few more years.

The 2 & 5 Dollars are also being pulled from circulation, along with the Bond Notes.
