I have no idea what this is

So I got this coin at a garage sale for free. I google imaged searched it, nothing. I think its silver since it doesn't have a smell and it melted an ice cube faster than other coins, anyways I was wondering if anyone knew what this coin is. The text is German I think and it has a little 999 symbol

It is a medal of the Cappenberg castle and yes it is silver, the 999 stands for 99.9% pure
