This catalog should be listed under both MB and KM. It contains MB coins (mostly 1501-1600), KM coins not listed in the century books, and additional information about some KM coins that are listed in the century catalogs.

Krause has renumbered countries in the past, but I can't think of any items with different KM numbers in the SCGermanC and the century books. It's just that the books have different sets of coins and different information (more often a little more information in SCGC than the century books).

The “which reference” problem is much more significant with Schön. The three books have the same reference code but I went through all three reference books I found cases where the books have different catalog numbers for the same type.

OK then, if you say KM codes stay the same.
But I cannot attach a reference to two codes, so I should use only KM, right?

"As time progressed we found many of these established systems incomplete and inadequate and have now replaced many with KM prefix numbers for post 1601 dated coins and MB prefix numbers for pre-1600 dated coins. When numbers change appropriate cross-referencing has been provided."

MB doesn't seem to be a cross-reference and is used for pre-1600 coins so maybe we need to add it as a separate catalog. I don't know if it contains more entries then the more modern century catalogs (I doubt it), if yes we might need to add it also to the KM list.

OK I created the DM one : https://en.numista.com/catalogue/catalogue.php?id=2205
