While working on a little project for my binders, I noticed the current ruler of Bahrain is styled as "King". But this titel was only created in 2002, two years into his reign.

This means for ~2 years, Hamad was styled Emir.

More a question than a request for change: Should Hamad have a short ruling authority as emir? Since there is one coin from this period. So it's more like this:

Emirate - House of Khalifa:

- Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa (1961-1999)
- Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa (1999-2002)

Kingdom - House of Khalifa:

- Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa (2002-date)

The coin in question:

N#2299

Note: The change is reflected on the coin(s), since all coins pre-2002 has written “State of Bahrain” and the coins after has “Kingdom of Bahrain” on them.
