Acient Greece- Apameia (Phrygia) [solved]

Have a nice day.

Everything fits me, only the letters of the inscription are illegible. But I can not only see the flute but also hear it. Even the head "Artemis" fits me.

Do you think that is enough for identification?

The metal is bronze

We have AE18:

N#144777

I think I can include him there? Does anyone have a different opinion?

thanks-Ahoj Ivan

The coin is very worn and usually almost impossible to get a better perspective from a picture but maybe you can inspect the coin and decipher some visible but unreadable letters from the left side of Marsyas. From what I see in the pictures and the metrics of the coin I think BMC 47 fits pretty good. The coin shape is preserved around 16 mm in diameter and the slight difference in weight might be caused by the coin wear or simply the inaccurate minting process of that time. My observations are not conclusive but if you can get at least some letters from the legend that would definitely give as a better perspective.

Yes, I'll put it under the microscope and if two letters match - I'll end the research and place the coin.  Yes, the coin is very worn - it almost seems to me that in ancient Greece they probably didn't use plastic payment cards much before our era or something😁

Hello and have a nice Sunday.
