(912 A.D.) Pope Lando I Pewter Medal..........Commemorative? [solved]

7 posts • viewed 56 times

After quite a bit of scouring the internet, I have found absolutely no information about this medal. The obverse depicts Pope Lando I, and the reverse has a date of DCCCCXII (912 A.D.)

in a Latin legend which online translators do not seem to be able to translate.

Due to the Workmanship / Manufacturing style, it appears to me to be a 16th to 18th century commemorative.

If anyone has any information or could point me in the right direction to attribute this item, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Do you have the lettering saved anywhere, to add it in a reply -

or do we take time to write it ourselves? Just asking.
