Japanese Modern Coins Album (1870- 1988) type set

Purchased this earlier this week on ebay from a pawn shop in Japan.

 It was a bit of a nightmare to import,

DHL initially refused to ship it as they claimed it was worth over 1 million Euros it eventually arrived after some back & forth.

Numista image upload won't let me upload the full images of the album so I put it in a imgur gallery for the rest of the site to enjoy.

This seems to be a updated version of the japanese Modern Coins album to include the 1986 ¥100,000 gold coin the ¥10,000 silver coin & the 1988 ¥100 & ¥500 yen commerative coins.

In addition the pages with ink outlines of the coins include English words to help international collectors to fill the type dispite how rare it is to find these outside of Japan.

Thanks, while trying to do research on this album I found a website called https://www.jauce.com/

It's one of those proxy buyer websites for International buyers to participate in Japanese auction sites.

 I tried seeing what coin albums would show up & low n behold tons of this type and a few earlier types came up, no idea how trustworthy the site is However so use at own risk.

I was honestly in the same boat, 

Just happened to see it listed on ebay for $243 

I might try on https://www.jauce.com/ it's a proxy Buyer's site for japan, when I last checked out their coin album auctions they had a few of these listed, their terms are weird though you have to preload ¥ into your account & any auctions that reach ¥30,000 become blocked from bidding on.

If I hadn't got the one I did I would have just ordered a custom caps album to be honest.
