Hi,

a real puzzle here …. Not sure first off if it is a coin or token. Secondly, the poor state makes dimension and weight almost impossible to measure.

This is a plea to anyone out there who may be able to help identify what I have ?

Looks like a George and Dragon on one side, and a book / bible and crown on obverse. Can’t quite make out the writing around the edge, although writing on the book is quite clear,

many many thanks,

cheers

Best I can approximate is 25-26mm diameter and approx 5g in weight

Could it be a pub token of some kind ? Not sure but I think I can make out SOC on the George and Dragon side at about 5 o’clock ?

looks english : all to the ocort (court) of god

Yes, I think it is English … the second page of the book looks like “…. To the glory of god” at the end. The other side looks like “…… m(p)ton **** Soc” which made me think it may be some kind of society token ? Couldn’t’t make out the word in the middle …..

Rather something like that
