Greetings,

In the coin catalogue we have 4 sections: Countries and Territories, Ancient and early medieval polities, Modern states with limited recognition, and micronations. I believe another section should be added. This section would be called “Stateless Nation”. My idea behind this is that the Kurds are a stateless nation, but officially did issue coinage. We could consider Kurdistan under modern states with limited recognition, but I feel those states have more sovereignty than Kurdistan. So can we please make “Stateless Nation” a section in the coin catalogue, with Kurdistan being the first listed under that?

Thank you all for your time and attention.

Cheers,

So this would be a section for “states with less recognition than the states with limited recognition.”

Is that really needed? Why wouldn't Kurdistan fit in the existing category?

Please show official Kurdistan issues.

They’re in Exonumia.

I know they are there, and I am quite sure they are not official, that is why I am asking.

This article states, “Kurdish groups in exile authorized the issuance of pieces for what they expected would be a new independent nation.”

I do believe if it would be a better idea, we could just add Kurdistan to states with limited recognition? The Sahrawi People are similar, as they have Western Sahara, but Western Sahara is not a full country.
