Hello,
I've got a used note of 500 rials from Iran.
Now when I search it in numista, all notes supposed to have a watermark with Khomeini.
Any info, please. Thanks in advance.

Ow, apologies,
Found the watermark on the 200 rials note.
Maybe someone (referee?) should mention that there are 2 watermarks possible on the 500 rials as well. Only the Khomeini is shown as a watermark. Thank you.

Add the change yourself, and with a picture - numista is all about members updating and upgrading the catalogue.
Thank you for your reply, Hibernia.
I tried before to add differences but I must do something wrong because the referees decline my input. They seem to be very strict.
So I'm getting afraid to add anything. My fault, I'm probably not clever enough.
Best regards, aniana.
It is not about being clever. I think 500 Rials you mention is already in database (P#137h Signature Dr. Mohsen Noorbakhsh, Mohammad Khan Watermark: Arms). In cases where there are multiple watermarks, usually signatures of Governors on Central banks will be different if banknotes are changed in the same year or the prefixes on banknotes may be different so that people know which series is what. Most famous example is 100 Reichsmark banknote from Germany
This should still be in the description of the watermark field like ‘Arms or portrait of Ayatollah Khomeini’. We can only post a singular image for watermarks right now but you can always put one for the alternative watermark in the comment section.

Or just combine two watermark image into one with MS Paint (or similar software). I did it with some Estonian banknotes which has two parts of watermark in each note.
Not really possible if they come from two different sources. Of course if I have all the different WMs of a not I would maybe do something like that:
