Some people are probably waiting impatiently for the King Charles British coins.

I saw this YouTube video the other day:

I’ve already got the 2023 Silver Britannia just waiting for the commemorative set which I ordered on launch day (3rd of Jan) but I still have not received it.

Hi to whoever is reading this. Did you know that TYPEWRITER (on a QWERTY keyboard) is the longest word you can type using only the letters on one row of the keyboard.

The Silver Britannia 2 Pounds dated 2023 exists with both Queen Elizabeth II's & King Charles III's portraits.

Even now, I find the idea of depicting Queen Elizabeth II on coins dated 2023 so wrong - as she died on 8 September 2022, & it is disrespectful towards King Charles III, in my opinion!

Aidan.

Agree there shouldn't be 2023 coins with QEII.

The King looks very regal - both in real life & as a portrait on a coin.

I will be getting an example of this type 50 Pence;

as well as an example of the British 50 Pence.

I totally agree. But maybe the explanation is that these coins were minted before September 8th, and so the government decided not to melt them down.
