Low Countries, Feudal

6 posts • viewed 58 times

The country-level issuer Low Countries, Feudal has been split and the various sub-issuers moved to the newly created sub-issuers Belgium, Feudal and Netherlands, Feudal and the existing sub-issuer France, Feudal.

As an example, members who have a coin from Prince-Bishopric of Liège in their collection will now find it in Belgium, Feudal.

Members who monitor their country count may have seen a decrease last week because of this change.

I may not know much about it, but isn't the city of Gent a modern city and not belonging in the Feudal category? Also since it's ermegency money from the First World War and German occupational coinage?

I have a soft spot for origami paper cranes.
Read or watch about "Sadako Sasaki and the Thousand Paper Cranes".

Thank you for pointing this out.

Yes, we should not have it under Feudal.  I will submit a request to handle it differently.

For the hours I spent in traffic jams on my way to Varsseveld, I will say yes, we can call it a modern city ;-)

Always look on the bright side of life!

I also found a (modern) flag to use, if need :D
