I found one in Vienna near one of the famous coffee shops. The proprietor had lived in Montreal so I had a nice chat with her. I bought a 50 shilling silver coin 1967 to commemorate 100 years of the waltz. Found another in Nuremberg on the main shopping plaza in the central area. Bought a silver Hindenburg 5 mark 1936 there. In Koblenz came across an interesting looking shop up one of the side streets off the Moselle. It was late in the evening and wasn't open so I missed an adventure there. There is a list in outings look at that. Then just use your phone to find them in the city you are in.

There is a good one in Regensburg in Germany.

Also another good one in Cologne in Germany.

 

Just google them in the respective cities.

In Düsseldorf are several coins shops - Münzen Ritter probably the most famous among them
