Variation (or Addition to Numista Catalogue): 3 Pesos Che Guevara 2002

I appear to have what may be a new coin, or a variation to an already catalogued coin.  The reverse side of this 3 Pesos Che Guevara 2002 has longer left side hair draped over the shoulder and light folds  on the left side of the jacket with deeper folds on the right side.  There is also a clear point of hair towards the T of MUERTE  on the right and far less definition to the hair all over.  Facial characteristics, especially the lips, are less well defined too.  Apologies for the poor condition of the coin (clearly adapted for use as a pendent - long before it came into my collection).  Obverse side appears to be the same as for 1992.

please help us to help you. We need better images with high resolution, weight, diameter, thickness and eventual idea of the alloy and in this case also the link to the 3 pesos 1992 in the catalog….. In fact, I have all 3, 1992, 1996 and 2002! But it's impossible to compare to your coin, because of the low quality of the images!

Apologies.  Completely forgot that I posted this one.  I'll try to get better pictures and detail over the weekend and update.  NOTE - my versions of this coin are cleary damaged, so weight will be irrelevant.

Just to be clear, I'm not looking to have these coins added as separate coins to the existing catalogued coins, unless everyone feels that this would be beneficial.  But maybe, it would be a good idea to compare the variations I've noticed and compare them to better condition coins so that notes can be made to the existing listing, possibly with a close up section of the differences on my coins.  

Width: 27mm, Thickness: (approx. 1.7mm - difficult to be precise with no rim), Alloy: Cupro Nickel (Clearly right through the coin - see damage), Weight:  irrelevant - due to damage 

This may be a variation or different die used for coins of different years, or it may be a different die used in the same year.  I have nothing to compare these to, but there are clear differences to the one pictured in the catalogue listing.

Oops - Magnetic.  Clearly not Cupro Nickel.  But, it certainly appears to be a solid metal right through.

Looks like they've had a die change (Rev only) on the detail around the head sometime in the ten years between these issues.  Ole's pristine coins seem to show similar differences between the 1992 and 2002 coins as mine, despite the damage.

Yes, that's what I concluded also and why I questioned the material of yours.

Not sure if it's really necessary for these changes to be listed as different versions, but I think it's worth showing them on the original page (maybe use Ole's examples and pictures rather than mine).
