Unknown, possibly Ottoman, coin?

I have a one sided coin and I am not sure where it is from. Maybe Ottoman Empire? Can someone please tell me when and/or where it is from? Also is it on Numista? Thank you for your time and attention.

I also had a doubt, I would have liked to see another photo it looks like a copy of Algeria

I would have too but I assumed a “one sided” coin didn't have much information on the other side.

Though it does sound like silver. So why would a copy be made of silver? Here is the back.

Maybe your token also had a similar obverse to that link, 

which was later smoothed then mounted, to make say a brooch. 

So is this token likely from 1800s Algeria? Or is it a modern replica?
