I wish you a nice day and no stress for the big pond.

First is identification:   it is a model for institutions of how a check should look

Usage shared by the bank:,,   a special type of cheque, which is most often issued in one of the main currencies (e.g. EUR, USD, etc.) and which can be bought mainly in banks or in some travel agencies. It is intended for trips abroad, as it is possible to sell it in most banks abroad, sometimes it is also possible to pay with it in shops or for services (e.g. hotels). When buying or selling a traveler's check, the relevant institution may charge a fee. If the basic rules are followed (counter-signature in the presence of a bank or store employee + presentation of passport), travelers checks are considered a safer option for transporting larger amounts of foreign currency than cash.,,

Valuation is the second name of the thread: here is one pattern for sale-

  which is in today's course:   227,17 $

Ordinary citizens like me have never seen these, in fact they were checks for employees of foreign companies or travelers abroad. Traveling "to the west" was impossible for ordinary people - it was an iron curtain, "forbidden", I listened to radio free Europe and "Luxembourg" in the evenings, mainly music -,,Smokie,, Deep Purple,,

I could only dream about traveling.

I think that's enough to explain Hi Ivan

Thank you for providing this information. Guess I looked in the wrong places.
