I got a ½ skilling from 1809 in a trade today and while I entered it in numista I saw the mentions of the “hook” in the year lines. I wanted to see the documentation of those “hooks” / “no hooks” and found nothing, so I set up this documentation:

While I did that I saw, that the 1809 should not have a “hook”, but mine has:

I then spent a good hour searching all the internet images of 1809 ½ skilling coins and I did NOT find any without the “hook”! So I think numista has to be changed to 1809 with a “hook".

I also saw in SCWC

that what numista calls “overstruck” is the ½ skilling being minted on top of a 1 öre coin making those overstrikes worth 50%  to  100% times more!

If nobody is against all this I will set up a CR accordingly.

Be careful: not worth 50-100 times more but 50-100 ‘percent’!

Sorry. You're right. But that was not really the point!

Since I can't prove the 1809 without “hook” exists, I suggest to do it like this 1809??

I am ok with your modification. I also messaged the owners of that line to check the Captain's Hook presence. :)

Already got one response, saying that coin indeed has a hook.

Another response, another hook.

Both of my coins have hook. Probably i didn't know what was the “hook” when i added them

That's often the problem, things and terms are not documented, so it's difficult to classify your coins correctly.
