Copper massa coins from the Chola kingdom in Sri Lanka and southern India about 900-1300 AD from different rulers do look rather similar. These are also called "octopus man" coins because of the appearance of the king in his robe. Coins of other rulers in this series are often misattributed to Raja Raja Chola. It is necessary to examine the writing carefully and match it to get a correct attribution.
I agree with the skillful attribution of Mariusz. This particular coin matches Sahassa Malla (1200-1202 AD).
