Hello, I noticed that the Australian 5c list (https://en.numista.com/catalogue/australie-3.html) has a comment that there are two variations for 2004, a “Normal SD” and a “Small SD”. I only have one 2004 coin, but I just happened to have two 2009 coins, and looking at them I think they have two differently sized SDs. Would anyone have noticed something similar?

You means this? N#1566

I think it may be similar, but for 2009. I was wondering if it was something others might have seen, as it's quite small so hard to make out.

I may have to try and find a way to take very close up photos.

Yeah, but in my pdocumentation, there is a difference, but I don't know exactly if that's what was meant with “large & small”, to me it's bold and fine😄

Seen here, large and small can also be used!

Happy to use "bold" and "fine"!  Have you seen differences on any dates that aren't 2004?

Managed to get a decent enough photo on my phone !

No, I haven't, and it hasn't been signalled anywhere either.

Hi

to me it looks, like numista is not reflecting the findings from down under:

See here:

I have no images of the 1967 and 1988 variants, but for the rest I'll set up the graphics then the CR.

I have made the CR for km64 and km80

but for the km104, I'm still a bit stuck with bold (small) and fine (large), what do you think?

so I have not made the CR for this km yet.

Those look good! I am not so familiar with all the Numista terminology, sorry!

I suspect we will have to look through more recent coins to see if these variations extend further.
