1 Reichsmark Error coin?

6 posts • viewed 106 times

Bought this reichsmark for insanely cheap (it cost me £1.99 all in on ebay) and seems to be an uncommon mint/year too. But fiddling around with it I noticed the alignment is a little odd. Is this common with this type of coin or an error, how much would this be worth as a standard coin and how much would it be worth if its actually an error?

(dont worry, the coin is behind the plastic with pen on it)

It looks like it is a very minor rotated die error. These errors however are not vary rare and with only a small degree of rotation like yours, it would not add very much value, if any.

Yes, this is my cat

That is why it was cheap🤣

Oh trust me, the seller has very little knowledge of coins. Its a uncommon mint mark and goes for between £20-50 on average.
