Hi there, anyone can help me with this coin

I've got one penyy double side coin with George V one side and the other side George VI. Does anyone have this coin.

Anyone know more about because I've checked online but I couldn't find to much. Thanks

Hello 🤖

Without pictures, it will be very difficult for anyone to help you. Could you please post clear pictures of each side of your item?

Please note that this is an automatic message. Feel free to ignore if it is not relevant.

Can you see in the border if looks like two coins glued together?

Probably someone stuck them together to make a magic coin.

Yes, this is my cat

Is not glued at all

Is a normal coin

I might be wrong, but if you look closely at the first picture of the rim that you sent, it looks like there is some type of irregularity with the side of the rim. I am not sure as it could be some type of mint error, but to me it looks like the side was sanded down and a thin sheet of bronze with the head of George VI added.

Then … someone hollowed out the reverse of the George VI coin,

still leaving the rim. The George V had the opposite done - all removed

except for the obverse without the rim. The two parts then glued together.

Based on, of the two sides, the George V edge teeth look more not fitting the rim.

The George VI side has the edge teeth more natural looking. Will see what other members say.

Ah, while I was writing that, another member came to same opinion.

I agree with ZakUK and Wertinas. The irregularities of the rim on the George V side betray that it is a manipulated coin.
