Help needed to identify old Papal coin - 1 Quattrino, Innocent X, Papal States, 1644-1655 [solved]

Hi,

can anyone please help me identify the following coin ? Image search turned up nothing, and tried all the keywords I could think of 😃 I believe it to be a 17th / 18th century Papal States coin of some kind, but can’t verify for sure.

Appears to be copper

Diameter - approx 19-19.5mm

weight - approx 3g

Looks like a saint, or Jesus, holding cross on one side, with papal coat of arms (cross keys with bird below) On the other. I think I can make out PAULUS on the figure side, and  A IIII (?) on the coat of arms side.

any help would be appreciated,

thanks

Thanks for taking a look - I’m not sure the coat of arms matches that on the link ….. on the coin, the keys appear to be below the hat, whereas on the picture in the link, the keys appear to go through the hat. However, you have given me something else to search on, as the figure and letters on that side do appear to match,

thanks

I found another Innocent X Quattrino with A II to the left of the left hand key, and this was quoted as a II (2) Quattrino coin, and the coins crossed under the hat.

I am guessing that mine may be a IIII (4)  Quattrino coin of Pope Innocent X ?

Mariusz => thanks for the pointer above 👍

It is the 2 quattrino in the link, but from the fourth year of reign (A IIII = Anno 4).

Fantastic, thank you very much ….

Sorry for the confusion, but I made a mistake by following the link.

It is a quattrino (not 2 quattrini).  We already have the coin here:  1 Quattrino - Innocent X (St. Paul) - Papal States – Numista.
