Hi everyone
have any of you noticed this error before?
Mine is missing R.THENOT that should be at the bottom left of his coat
do you think it's a case of late die stage and all of the lettering got polished off, or filled in?

It seems at least the 2013 coins simply don't have it, another example (LINK).
Maybe only 2008 issues have it?

Very interesting!
should Numista make a change to the description to be listed as 2008 should be the only one with the lettering?
Thank you Idolenz for the extra info, not an error, just not listed correctly I assume !!!

You'll have to look through a bunch of coins to look if since 2008 there are 2 variants (with and without) or if it's just for certain years.
There are already a bunch of info pictures and a few sentences about that on the page but maybe not exhaustive enough.

Hi all,
Only the 50 Pesos 2008 has the two variants (with and without R.Thenot). The “normal” issue of the series is without.

Sorry, I forgot to mention that the 50 Pesos 2009 with the “CHIIE” error has also R.Thenot.
