Ahoj.

It is possible to compare and recognize the inscription on an ancient Greek coin and determine which one it belonged to - the ruler?

A very thick coin.

Bronze

size: 14,52x 16,56 mm

weight: 5,10 g

thickness: 4,48 mm

The search ΛΑΟΔΙΚ* in the catalogue doesn't produce this coin, so it's probably not yet in the catalogue.

There are two (or three?) cities named Laodikea…

EDIT ─ Possibly BMC 29? Wildwinds page and Wildwinds Image

Thank you very much for the guidance,,  Camerinvs ,,

That's right, everything fits - and at the same time, the second coin was also detected, the cornucopia,,,so two birds with one stone,, good hit.

Thanks again and best regards for the ocean.

Happy to have been of some help.

Unfortunately, they don't give the weight of the coin at Wildwinds. I suspect yours is about the same weight but on a smaller and thicker planchet.
