Well they are worth $20. Canada is switching to polymer banknotes, so this will be our normal $20. I am going to the bank tomorrow hopefully going to get my first one.

According to the CBC NEWS, there are many problems with the new notes because they will not work in any of the vending manchines. New software is being written to correct these problems. There have also been problems at the bank machines either giving out too many or too few because the notes stick together. It could take up to 6 months to fix all the problems. When the new $5 notes and $10 notes are issued in 2013, these same problems will occur and will have to be corrected with new software.
Finally, I got a few. Who is the man on the front? They should have used less detail and somehow complimented the face. Proof that technology advancements aren't always a good thing. BIN, BIW, BIP, BSL.
