Hi there I am new to the forum I am looking for information around a copper Liverpool condor token from 1793(I believe the date to be this but is a bit worn).

It has Britannia struck on one side and an image of a ship struck on the other side.

 Also - a condor is a bird.

The UK tokens 1787 to 1797 are called Conder as it was James Conder who catalogued them.

Looks like the left picture - which has a ship.

 I think both sides have the same lettering >

 I found that from a catalogue - and these four were on 154 of 222 pages.

[All are 1797 dated]

Leith is located near Edinburgh.

I picked this one up very recently;

.

I bought it off an old man at a fair in my home town of Wanganui - for 20 New Zealand Dollars.

He was very happy to get it a new home - in MY collection!
