The creation of the mint from what I was able to track down was
January 20, 1958
In 1978 The changed their name to
Continental Coin Corporation
Since this time there has been many other companies that have used this name but they need to not be confused with he one that Minted the USSC Silver Ingots that were highly collectible in the 1970s
